Sustainable Energy Transition in Indonesia (SETI) Launches Inaugural Training Program to Strengthen Industrial Capacity Toward Net Zero Emissions

The Sustainable Energy Transition in Indonesia (SETI) officially launched its inaugural program on September 19, 2025, at the DoubleTree Hotel, Jakarta.
This program aims to strengthen industrial capacity in supporting the energy transition and achieving net zero emissions, promote the adoption of energy efficiency and renewable energy across industrial sectors, and implement practical sustainability measures within Indonesian companies.

The event was organized by Greenwise, in collaboration with WRI Indonesia and GIZ Indonesia, as implementing partners of the program. A total of 99 participants from various industrial sectors along with representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and the Ministry of Industry (PIH) joined both onsite and online, marking a concrete step toward cross-sector collaboration in advancing a low-carbon economy.
In addition to the presentation sessions, participants were guided by trainers Hesli Oktavia and Wiraatmodjo Nugroho to calculate emissions and energy use from their respective industries, and took part in interactive games designed to enhance engagement and strengthen collaboration among participants.

Together, we can realize a more efficient, low-carbon, and globally competitive industrial landscape in Indonesia. Stay tuned for the next session of the SETI Capacity Building series with us, and take concrete steps toward a sustainable energy transition.
