Greenwise Launches Its First Sustainability Notes as a Commitment to Sustainable Business Practices

Sustainability Notes

Amid the growing attention toward Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, PT Solusi Makmur Lestari, through its business line Greenwise Consulting, officially launched its Sustainability Notes 2025 as the company’s first sustainability notes publication.

The launch of the Sustainability Notes marks an important milestone for us in strengthening our commitment to transparency, responsible governance, and the implementation of sustainable business practices internally. Notably, this initiative was undertaken not due to regulatory obligations, but as a reflection of the company’s belief that sustainability should begin from within the organization itself.

For Greenwise, sustainability is an integral part of how the company builds its work culture, makes strategic decisions, manages risks, and creates long-term positive impacts for the environment and society.

Through Sustainability Notes 2025, Greenwise documents the company’s various efforts and achievements across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects. These include strengthening internal governance, developing human resource capacity, implementing equality and inclusion principles, managing sustainability risks, and measuring the company’s operational emissions.

As a company operating in the green consulting sector, Greenwise believes that organizations supporting sustainability transformation must also demonstrate the real implementation of those values. Therefore, these Sustainability Notes serve not only as a form of transparency to stakeholders, but also as an internal reflection to continuously pursue improvement.

The launch of this first sustainability notes publication also reflects Greenwise’s readiness to adapt to the evolving sustainability reporting standards in Indonesia, including the growing focus on ESG disclosure and climate-related risks in the future.

Nevertheless, Greenwise believes that sustainability reporting should not wait until a company becomes large or until regulations make it mandatory. Initial steps such as sustainability notes can become an important foundation for building a culture of transparency, data readiness, and a more measurable sustainability strategy.

In addition to documenting the company’s internal commitments, Sustainability Notes 2025 also reflects Greenwise’s contribution to supporting various cross-sector sustainability initiatives. During the reporting period, Greenwise was involved in several strategic projects, including ESG roadmap development, industrial decarbonization capacity building, green financing strategy development, as well as support for energy transition and carbon emission reduction initiatives.

Internally, Greenwise also continues to strengthen corporate governance through the implementation of a code of conduct, anti-bribery policies, data protection measures, integrity culture development, and various sustainability training programs for internal teams.

Through its first Sustainability Notes, Greenwise hopes to encourage more organizations to view sustainability not merely as a reporting obligation, but as part of a long-term business strategy capable of creating sustainable economic, social, and environmental value.

Moving forward, Greenwise remains committed to continuously strengthening ESG implementation internally while supporting organizations in developing sustainability strategies, ESG reporting, decarbonization initiatives, and more measurable and impactful sustainability governance practices.

For companies or organizations seeking to develop sustainability strategies, ESG roadmaps, sustainability reporting, decarbonization initiatives, or green transition implementation, Greenwise Consulting is ready to become a strategic partner in delivering practical, measurable, and business-relevant sustainability solutions.
